The ADP in Laws is a 2-year degree designed to provide students with a strong foundation in legal principles, case law, legislation, and legal procedures. This program prepares students for careers in the legal profession, including roles as solicitors, barristers, legal consultants, corporate advisors, and policymakers.
The curriculum covers fundamental areas of law, including criminal law, constitutional law, contract law, international law, and human rights law, along with specialized electives. Practical training, moot court exercises, and legal research projects equip students with critical thinking, advocacy, and analytical skills required for the legal profession.
The ADP of Laws program aims to:
Provide a Strong Foundation in Law – Equip students with knowledge of legal systems, statutes, case law, and legal reasoning.
Develop Legal Research and Analytical Skills – Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and reasoning through legal case studies and research.
Enhance Advocacy and Communication Skills – Train students in legal writing, argumentation, and court procedures.
Promote Understanding of International and Comparative Law – Explore global legal systems, human rights, and international dispute resolution.
Prepare for Legal Practice and Further Studies – Lay the groundwork for professional qualifications, including the bar exam or legal training programs.
